VolkerGround Engineering at Newbury Wharf
VolkerGround Engineering has recently mobilised to site at Newbury Wharf to support our valued client on a significant flood defence project on the River Kennet.
Over the next four weeks, our team will be installing AZ12-770 sheet piles, up to 8m in length, along with a steel capping beam.
Due to restricted access and a confined working area, our zero tail swing 23T excavator provided the ideal solution, enabling us to carry out the piling operations safely and efficiently.
Works remain on schedule, and once this phase is complete, our team and equipment will mobilise to the next section of the project. Follow us for further updates as the project progresses.
