Our specialist teams continue to offer high quality track construction, maintenance and renewals to a wide range of clients including: Nottingham Express Transit, Manchester Metrolink, Sheffield Supertram, and London Tramlink as well as a number of Major Contractors on the heavy rail network.
We have a great opportunity for Store Manager to work in Metro's and Weld in Sheffield.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels
- Ensuring that quality standards are adhered to
- Ensuring compliance to production/procurement schedules, process quality and efficiency standards
- Ensuring that any company or function specific training is provided
- Liaising with suppliers and contacts on site to ensure all problems with orders and deliveries are dealt with effectively and efficiently
- Monitoring delivery of all orders by supplier and GRN orders when received
- Ensuring that adequate operational control materials are available for all work sites and depots through effective monitoring of stock requirement and availability, maintaining stock levels as required
- Checking and loading of materials, vehicles, plant and equipment prior to and after any works are planned and delivered
- Build strong relationships in the team, with key stakeholders and clients to ensure no major problems arise
- Provide verbal and written reports on work site activities
- Comply with company specific standards as required
- Be the central point of contact on site for ordering materials
- Implement and monitor material movement process for the Project
- Be the first point of contact for material suppliers on site
About you
- Experience of managing materials and deliveries to site.
- Knowledge of stock control processes.

Knowledge of safety critical communications.

Knowledge of COSSH.
- Literate in Microsoft Office Packages.
- Demonstrate the ability to influence and manage complex and demanding stakeholders.
