We are a key delivery partner on the Anglian Water Major Projects Framework, supporting the delivery of some of the region's most critical infrastructure investments. As our portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for a talented Planner to join our team and play a vital role in the successful planning and delivery of major water infrastructure projects. Our teams work collaboratively to deliver safe, sustainable and high-quality solutions that make a lasting difference to customers and communities. As a Planner, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring project programmes throughout the project lifecycle, from tender and pre-construction stages through to delivery and project close-out. You will work closely with Project Managers, construction teams, commercial teams and designers to ensure projects are planned effectively and progress is monitored accurately. The role will be based from our Peterborough office with regular travel to sites and locations across the Anglian Water region.About you
- Experience in a planning role within construction, civil engineering, infrastructure or utilities projects.
- Strong programme management and scheduling experience across the project lifecycle.
- Advanced knowledge of P6 or Asta Powerproject and Microsoft Excel.
- A good understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and project delivery.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of project controls and reporting
- The ability to analyse complex information and present it clearly to project teams and clients.
- A proactive approach, strong initiative and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement, safety and quality.
