We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bid Manager to join our dynamic Work Winning team, playing a key role in securing major projects across the UK water sector. In this highly visible position, you will lead the development of compelling, high-quality bids, working alongside technical experts, operational teams and senior stakeholders to transform client requirements into winning submissions. Your ability to create persuasive, compliant and value-driven proposals will directly contribute to our continued growth and success. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys influencing outcomes, and wants to make a tangible impact on the delivery of critical infrastructure projects.About you
- AMPM accreditation (Foundation, Practitioner or Professional level) or a commitment to achieving it.
- Proven experience within a Tier 1 contractor environment, ideally in the water sector.
- Strong construction and civil engineering knowledge gained through a bidding, technical or operational role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and engaging proposals.
- The confidence to build strong relationships and effectively influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work to challenging deadlines.
