Manchester Airport

Purpose

• VolkerFitzpatrick is supporting the long-term development of Manchester Airport through Manchester Airports Group’s Airfield Infrastructure Framework. The framework supports MAG’s capital investment programme, helping to maintain and enhance safe, resilient and sustainable airfield infrastructure. 

What we are doing

• Drawing on our specialist aviation expertise, VolkerFitzpatrick is supporting the delivery of airfield infrastructure works, including runway and taxiway rehabilitation, aircraft stands, pavement works and airfield ground lighting. The framework runs for five years, with the potential to extend to eight. 
• Our experience of working in complex, operational airport environments enables us to deliver critical infrastructure while supporting the continued operation and development of the airport.

Project successes

• Our appointment to the framework strengthens VolkerFitzpatrick’s relationship with Manchester Airports Group and reinforces our position as an experienced aviation infrastructure partner. Through close collaboration with MAG and other framework partners, we are supporting its long-term investment in high-quality, resilient airport infrastructure.
