An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Supervisor to join our team in Scotland on works across the Central belt.
Our Senior Supervisors are the heartbeat of our projects, leading our teams on the ground, shaping our site culture and ensuring every task is completed safely, skilfully and to the quality VolkerLaser is known for.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing complex or multi‑site operations, they bring clarity, coordination and confidence to busy environments.
- Acting as the bridge between Site Management and frontline operatives, they champion teamwork, professionalism and high performance, ensuring strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and colleagues at all levels.
- Ensure full HSE compliance and promote a strong safety culture on site
- Lead and supervise site operations to deliver work safely and efficiently
- Plan works, allocate resources, and manage site teams
- Identify and manage risks, ensuring safe systems of work are followed
- Ensure all work meets quality standards, specifications, and ITPs
- Lead by example and support the development and performance of the team
About you
- Previous experience on civil projects
- Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and safe systems of work
- Knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues
- CSCS – Supervisor
- SSSTS
- A degree (or nearest equivalent) in Civil Engineering related subject
