Key Accountabilities
- Understand and comply with Company Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental and Sustainability Systems and Policies
- Provide assistance to the Site Engineers in the accurate setting out and control of the works, taking every opportunity to undertake setting out under the supervision of their Section/Senior Engineer
- Gain experience of Company HSEQ systems and participate in tasks that are described
- Gain experience in materials sampling and testing
- Any other duties assigned by your line manager for the benefit of the site
Key Objectives
- Undertaking Instrument checks on setting out equipment and maintaining records of such checks
- Maintaining drawing registers
- Setting out the works
- Maintaining as built record drawing of the completed works
- Maintaining records of labour, plant and materials used in the works
- Undertaking material reconciliations
- Reading and understanding method statements
- Checking material deliveries for compliance with contract requirements
- Carrying out material sampling
About you
- A degree in Civil Engineering (or a closely related discipline),
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Proactive, reliable, and keen to develop professionally
- Basic understanding of engineering principles, standards, and best practices
- Awareness of health, safety, and quality requirements within an engineering environment
- Full UK Driving License - as there may be a requirement to travel to other sites or offices
