Metro and Rail Projects (MRP) have extensive experience of working on high profile projects for most of the UK’s light rail and tram operators and on the UK heavy rail network. Our specialist teams continue to offer high quality track construction, maintenance and renewals to a wide range of clients including: Nottingham Express Transit, Manchester Metrolink, Sheffield Supertram, and London Tramlink as well as a number of Major Contractors on the heavy rail network.
We have a great opportunity for a Foreman to work across the UK predominately in the South.
You will be responsible for:
- The organisation, allocation and control of site operatives including but not restricted to: Direct labour, sub contract labour and plant operator.
- Responsibility for maintaining good site discipline
- Ensuring all activities are compliant with health and safety regulations (including safety inspections)
- The identification of any staff training needs.
About you
- The holding of COSS Competency.
- The holding of ‘Passport to Safety’ competence would be an advantage.
- Good communication skills due to regular as interface with the client.
- Be able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
- Full UK driving licence.
