We have an excellent opportunity for a Programme Manager to join our VolkerHighways business.
The Programme Manager will play a key role in the management and delivery of highway related operations including drainage related schemes/operations, undertaken by Volker Highways in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. The post holder will be responsible for receiving and verifying work and for close liaison with operational teams to ensure work is promptly delivered, as well as for the production of reports and other documentation to the Client to demonstrate high levels of compliance and performance.
About you
- Understanding of highway maintenance activities
- Experience and understanding of drainage systems and principles
- Experience in managing emergency response and winter maintenance activities on highways
- Understanding of health and safety requirements of site and the requirements of the ‘Red Book’
- Good organisational and record keeping skills
- Understanding of the requirements and implementation of CDM Regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with Client, colleagues and site personnel alike
- Ability to communicate effectively with members of the public with professional and positive attitude.
