Industrial training placements opportunities at VolkerFitzpatrick 2025/26 – Construction Management
If you are a 2nd year student studying a Construction Management degree and are looking for a placement from 2025/26 working for a main contractor in the construction industry – to start in September 2025, this is a fantastic and career-enriching job role for you at VolkerFitzpatrick.
We run a structured placement year programme with an opportunity to secure a graduate job after your final year at university
Our minimum 40-week industry placement programmes focus on on-the-job learning, to complement your university course. Placements focus on technical skills and the progression towards increasing responsibility. You will learn through on-site experience, your team, line manager and formal training courses.
Those who show consistent progress may be considered for employment post-graduation, via our graduate programme. This means that students demonstrating exceptional performance during placement may be awarded a bursary for their final university year, and the opportunity to return to VolkerFitzpatrick on the relevant graduate scheme.
