The Trainee Construction Manager is an important member of the Site Operation Team. The Trainee is expected to act in a responsible and professional manner at all times maintaining good working relations with site management, Client, our chain of sub–contractors, suppliers and designers and with the general public. The Trainee shall assist the Assistant Site Manager & Site Manager to ensure the site adheres to all VolkerFitzpatrick HSEQ policies. The Trainee will work on site 4 days a week and study for a Construction Management degree at university 1 day a week. The Trainee will also be part of a structured VolkerFitzpatrick training programme.
About you
A passion for construction and some work experience would be an advantage.
Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship - Construction Management BSc (Hons)
- HNC in related subject with merit grade or;
- Level 4 Apprenticeship in relevant subject or equivalent level 4 qualification
- Applicants must hold 5 GCSEs A-C including Maths and English or equivalent (reformed GCSEs grade 4 or above)
