Project scope

Each level crossing had different requirements which are:

Low Gates (Northallerton) required the renewal of external level crossing equipment with minor alterations to control circuitry in the existing equipment room.

Chalk Lane (Hull) required a full renewal of level crossing equipment including new transmission system and interlocking housed in a new REB, with minor alterations to the operator's controls in Hessle Road signalbox.

St Georges Road (Hull) also required a full renewal of level crossing equipment including new transmission and interlocking housed in a new REB, with minor alterations to the operator's controls in Hessle Road signalbox.  The CCTV cameras at Walton Street level crossing were also updated.

Thorpe Road requied Full renewal of level crossing equipment including new interlocking housed in a new REB, introduction of bi-directional controls and upgrade of track circuits and provision of GETS AHB predictor system
