VolkerFitzpatrick constructs two new teaching accommodation buildings at Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School in Hertfordshire.
- Two-storey Maths and Economics building, with classroom accommodation and departmental offices
- Classrooms fitted with student lockers, 84-inch screen, whiteboard and storage space
- Three-storey English and Modern Foreign Languages building, with classroom and office space
- Reception area, clad in Bath Natural Ashlar stone
- 100-seat drama studio
- Reinforced concrete frames, supported by CFA piled foundations
- Brick cladding, aluminium windows and zinc clad pitched roofing
- Corridors and internal doors featuring oak glazing and corridor ceilings in oak timber
- Working with Hertfordshire based suppliers and subcontractors
