VolkerStevin has been recognised for its innovative safety and behaviour change approach, ‘Safety Ripple', which places our people at the heart of decision making and recognises the positive influence everyone in the business can have on others, through their own actions and behaviours.

Commenting on the award shortlist, Duncan Aspin, Head of HSEQS at VolkerStevin, said: “Through Safety Ripple, we have created an environment where everyone can – and wants to - contribute to the safe systems of work through active and open participation. This acknowledgement from the industry is testament to our people. We look forward to building on these achievements in the future.”

In its fourth year, the awards highlight businesses, teams and individuals that have made an extra step in making a difference to improve the construction industry’s reputation, professionalism and practices.

Alongside VolkerStevin, VolkerWessels UK has also been shortlisted for four awards: Digital Team of the Year, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Initiative of the Year, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion leader of the Year (Hollie Woodard) and Excellence in Learning and Development.

The winners will be announced at the CN Talent Awards ceremony, taking place on the evening of Wednesday 20 November – fingers crossed!
