VolkerStevin raises £4,600 for The Christie charity

Each year, VolkerStevin nominates a charity to support over the course of the year. As a business, we collate the money raised throughout the year through dress down days, sports events, activities, auctions and raffles, and then donate it to our chosen charity. The team recently presented a cheque to The Christie charity in Manchester.

As one of the largest hospital charities in the UK, The Christie charity exists to raise money for the benefit of the patients of The Christie, to provide them with access to leading treatments and outstanding care. VolkerStevin’s donation will go towards care and treatment, research, equipment and improvements that are over and above what the NHS can fund.

VolkerStevin has chosen to support St Catherine’s Hospice in 2020. St Catherine’s Hospice is a local Lancashire charity, that helps people facing life-shortening conditions to live in comfort, and with dignity. To read more about the charity, please follow this link: https://www.stcatherines.co.uk/
