On the same date the following companies; VolkerRail Welding Ltd, VolkerRail Signalling Ltd, VolkerRail Power Ltd and VolkerMatrix Ltd will cease to exist as separate legal entities with all future trading being transferred and incorporated into our new company, VolkerRail Specialist Businesses Ltd.

The Group will continue to use the former brand names for trading purposes - the table below best illustrates how these changes are being implemented in the Group.

Why are we changing?
The changes reflect the need to simplify our existing structure and to improve efficiencies by lowering costs, streamlining working practices and offering a more flexible organization to match our customer needs.

What is not changing?
There are no changes to VolkerRail Ltd, Company Reg No. 03184313, with trading continuing as normal.

What do you need to do?
Create a new Sales Ledger Account with the following details:

Account Closure
With effect from 1st January 2010 you should close or prohibit the acceptance of purchase orders onto your sales ledgers that contain any reference to VolkerRail Plant Ltd, VolkerRail Welding Ltd, VolkerRail Signalling Ltd, VolkerRail Power Ltd and VolkerMatrix Ltd - all future purchase orders received that make reference to the aforementioned companies should be placed against the new company, VolkerRail Specialist Businesses Ltd.

Goods delivered up to the 31st December 2009
Goods which have been delivered up to the 31st December 2009 should be invoiced to the VolkerRail company shown on the purchase order; it is recommended that you submit invoices to us promptly so that they arrive at our accounts payable department by the 30th January 2010.

Invoices received after 30th January 2010 that refers to the former VolkerRail company name(s) will be returned to you - it will be necessary for you to re-submit any such invoices against the new company name.

Purchase Orders received prior to 31st December 2009 where Goods are delivered after 1st January 2010

Goods delivered after 1st January 2010 against purchase orders received from VolkerRail Plant Ltd, VolkerRail Signalling Ltd, VolkerRail Power Ltd, VolkerMatrix Ltd and ALH Rail Coatings Ltd should be invoiced to VolkerRail Specialist Businesses Ltd.

New Style Purchase Orders
With effect from 1st January 2010 new format purchase orders will be issued, these contain the trading brand names of; VolkerRail Plant, VolkerRail Welding, VolkerRail Signalling, VolkerRail Power and VolkerMatrix - but these orders must be correctly allocated onto your systems so that invoices are correctly raised and issued as VolkerRail Specialist Businesses Ltd

Please ensure that a valid Purchase Order is shown on all correspondence, failure to do so may result in invoices being returned and payment being delayed.
