The contract will involve the construction of a 360,000ft2 industrial/distribution unit. VolkerFitzpatrick will undertake a large earthmoving operation prior to improving the ground to accept the foundations and floor slab of the building. Key subcontractors are Atlas Ward on the steel frame and FK Roofing on the Cladding.

The contract also includes the construction of part of the infrastructure along with concrete lorry marshalling yards and car parking for the facility, together with environmental initiatives within the scheme. The works commenced on the 3rd March 2008 and will be completed within a 31 week programme.
