Local artist brightens VolkerLaser’s corridors

Recent

A piece of artwork, which was commissioned as part of the recent refurbishment of the VolkerLaser offices at Worcester, has been unveiled.

The bespoke design was created by Worcester University Digital Media student, Sian Davies, who specializes in stenciled spray paint artwork and has completed commissioned work previously for local school playgrounds and community centres.

Mike Weaver, VolkerLaser managing director, said: "With a newly constructed 35 metre corridor, it was felt something was needed to brighten up the extensive blank space. After developing links with the local University, VolkerLaser held a series of meetings with Sian to identify the concept of the design. The design embodies the values and services of VolkerLaser, but has also help capture the strong local links VolkerLaser have here in Worcestershire. The finished artwork has been well received by our employees and visitors."
