The VolkerFitzpatrick Three Bridges depot team held a charity race night on Thursday 31st July to raise money for the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Evelina London Children's Hospital and the Meningitis Research Foundation.
The event raised a total of £4395 in donations and with VolkerFitzpatrick matching the donations, bringing the total amount of money raised to £8790. The event was held in memory of Tom Hull's (agent at VolkerFitzpatrick) son Oli who was cared for at Evelina London Children's Hospital in the PICU but sadly passed away due to meningitis.
The evening involved eight films of actual horse races being shown throughout the night allowing attendees to sponsor or buy a race or a horse. The ‘owner' of the winning horse in each race received a prize. Prizes were generously donated by our supply chain. The event was heavily attended by the Three Bridges depot team including the client and sub-contractors some of who also sponsored races.
Danielle Ehren, senior office manager at VolkerFitzpatrick said: ‘The race night was a fun evening and it was great to see so many team members get involved with the event in support of our colleague. We raised a substantial amount of money for two worthy causes and I would like to thank everyone who donated.'
