Gerard van de Aast leaving VolkerWessels
Amersfoort, 22 August 2012 - The VolkerWessels Supervisory Board hereby announces that Gerard van de Aast, Chairman of the Management Board, will be leaving the company as of 1 December 2012.
Mr. Van de Aast will be joining Royal Imtech NV, where he will be holding the position of Chairman of the Board of Management.
VolkerWessels has performed well in recent years and is well-positioned for the future. Mr. Van de Aast made a significant contribution to this achievement.
The Supervisory Board would like to thank Mr. Van de Aast for his efforts and wishes him all the best in his future endeavours. VolkerWessels will search for a successor and will provide more information on this as soon as possible.
